THE STORY:After completing a Bachelor's in Management and certification in accounting and taxation, I landed a role at a Fortune 100 Energy company in the tax department. I worked long days and would come home, cook dinner and then work behind the scenes, writing code to build my website and fulfilling bookings as an event hostess and media influencer. After a couple of years and some serious multi-tasking, I realized I was no longer aligned with my purpose in my corporate role. I was no longer fulfilled with my corporate job and new that the time I spent there was slowing me down in other areas that meant more to me. I took all my education and work experience else where. I eventually made the transition to becoming a full-time entrepreneur once it became evident that my skill set would be put to better use at the companies built and ran by my husband and I.
