BUSINESS / ORGANIZATION:

CEO Leadership & Training Academy

Houston

ABOUT THE BUSINESS / ORGANIZATION:
Our mission for CEO Leadership & Training Academy is to be a learning hub for community organizers, entrepreneurs, and leaders with an inexpensive startup environment providing coaching, consulting, and connecting services. Our courses serve a variety of industry sectors. We will have CEO’s from nonprofit organizations, for-profit businesses, and economic development agencies share their experiences and successes. We are committed and dedicated to serving startups.

My mission for my additional business, Foster Financial Education, is to educate, empower and equip our youth, communities, and workplaces with knowledge and financial literacy skills to help bridge the gap between living in financial constraints and obtaining true financial and debt freedom. At Foster Financial Education, we teach key financial concepts, money management skills and provide practical financial expertise and strategies to help individuals obtain personal financial goals. We strive to foster financial independence, generational wealth and legacies for future generations.

THE STORY:
I’ve been in the banking and finance industry for over 20 years. I started out in banking and after assisting individuals and families from all backgrounds over the years, I realized there was a massive void in financial literacy, understanding fundamental money management concepts and implementing strategic financial planning. Passion to empower others to achieve financial stability and independence, the desire to have multiple streams of income and leave a legacy for my daughter fueled my desire to launch my own company. Furthermore, the opportunity to form CEO Leadership & Training Academy, a company made up of 3 entrepreneurs in different industries, was an excellent opportunity. Ultimately, we decided to combine our skills, expertise, and knowledge to form a company that supports small businesses, nonprofits, and aspiring entrepreneurs.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS / ACCOLADES / AWARDS:
Twenty years in the banking and finance industry

LOOKING BACK:
I would tell my younger self to be patient, more confident and more inclined to trust herself. Oh, and I would tell her not to forget to have fun!

In 10 years, my goal is for CEO Leadership & Training Academy to be a global company at the forefront of entrepreneurial assistance, helping small businesses and entrepreneurs to thrive in their own right.
