ABOUT THE BUSINESS / ORGANIZATION:Mission Statement
Pretty Girls, Inc is in place to help girls ages 3-18 in building up their positive mental health by rehearsing self-esteem activities. These activities will cover academic performance, health awareness, etiquette development and age appropriate hygiene practices. These areas will ultimately help each girl to project high self-esteem in her daily endeavors.
Pretty Girls, Inc is a 501©3 organization that enhances girls from ages 3-18 on embracing their internal and external image through developing positive mental health, hygiene, academic excellence, healthy alternatives and etiquette, for their current and future endeavors. These positive characteristics will be established through motivational speakers, themed events, mentorship and workshop like classes.
Motivational speaking, implementing programs and helping young girls ponder on daily situations, will assist in suppressing daily mental battles. These battles may cause low self-esteem, which can effect proper social development within her. These negative feelings can be avoided by constant participation in the program, simple words of encouragement and positive guidance, to help promote positive self-awareness. When she completes her exploration she will become a "Pretty Girl!"
THE STORY:Prior to Sharmayne completing her degrees and other accomplishments, she had experiences that caused her to have low self-esteem and no sense of identity. When not realizing who she was, Sharmayne felt that she was not qualified to reach her fullest potential.
Going through this identity crisis and gaining a sense of empowerment from God, Sharmayne had a passion to reach out to girls and women, to help them avoid falling into the same crisis. The passion then turned into a vision and Pretty Girls, Inc was birthed December 20, 2010.
"From Pain to Passion is my slogan that keeps me motivated, to assist girls and women in fighting against the daily personal constraints. These constraints are the very things and people that prevent positive self affirmation".

ROADBLOCKS AND CHALLENGES:Challenges are -- the fight with myself! I place pressure on myself, when I "think" I've failed. However, taking a current journey in becoming whole, requires me to see myself as God sees me, which redirects my attention of hope, peace, love and achievement.
SUCESS:Success to me is when I give back and support others. I am a servant at heart, which allows me to be selfless and focused on others. If I can help just one person succeed pass doubt, fear, and low self-esteem, I have successfully aligned up with my purpose.
