On the morning of July 18th, the ladies of the Classy Living Society walked together (social distancing) to support the SBC’s Breast Clinic. The mobile breast clinic travels throughout the state of Georgia to help medically underserved men and women gain access to quality breast care.
On July 15th, the Classy Living Society was able to participate in writing and sending letters to recipients of the Phoenix Assisted Care PenPal program, keeping them company in these hard times.
On June 20, 2020, the ladies of the Classy Living Society volunteered at the Non-congregate Hotel, which houses individuals experiencing homelessness who have tested negative for COVID-19 and are either over the age of 65 or have underlying health conditions that increase their vulnerability for complications should they contract the virus. Saturday, June 6th, the Classy Living Society helped assemble grocery boxes for the people in need with Reflections of Trinity, a non-profit organization, that is dedicated to meet the basic needs of those in crisis with things such as food, clothing, and houseware. Link to Non-Profit
