Founded in 2013, we are an innovative 501(C)3 non-profit organization.
We aim to help girls break through systematic barriers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), by encouraging them to explore careers in those fields.
The vision is SIMPLE.
To empower and equip all girls to be catalysts in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) by breaking the status quo.
As the world evolves, so do we. We are guided by a vision of breaking the status quo in STEM – a world where all girl’s equal opportunity rights are no longer questioned, forgotten, or marginalized. We evolved from the mission of bridging the gap in STEM careers for girls and minorities to breaking the status quo in STEM for ALL girls.
Our Core Approach
Parental/guardian involvement is critical. We know that a girl’s growth and development begins with the parental/guardian foundation. The core approach breaks into three dimensions that we call our core principles: Mentoring, Tutoring, and Field Experiences.
The Status Quo
PinkSTEM empowers girls and equips them to navigate beyond any under-representation, disadvantage, and/or disability. They are not merely products of their environments. They are producers of their environments. They can run companies and even countries. They can positively impact their communities and their generation. Together we can build the world we want to live in. A world where girls lead at every level in STEM. Together we can break the status quo
